Ndabaramukije mwizina ry' Umwami n'Umukiza wacu Yesu Kristo!
We are excited to share with you the latest news from the Seventh-day Adventist Church in North East Rwanda Field. Recently, church elders from across the region gathered in Rwagitima for a retreat organized by the Rwanda Union Mission departmental directors i.e. Pr Rutaganzwa Leonidas (Evangelism department director) and Pr Umuremye Jolay Paul (Revival and Reformation department director) and the leadership of NERF.
Umwiherero wari amahirwe adasanzwe kubakuru b'itorero guhurira hamwe no gushimangira kwizera kwabo binyuze mumasengesho, kwiga Bibiliya, no gusabana. Umwiherero wibanze kubyutsa ishyaka ryo kubwira abandi ubutumwa bwiza bw'agakiza.
The retreat also provided an opportunity for church elders to network and share experiences, challenges, and successes in their respective local churches. The fellowship was a reminder that although we may belong to different congregations, we are all united in our mission to share the love of Christ with the world.
As Seventh-day Adventists, we believe that we have been called to proclaim the three angels’ message to the world, which is centered on the everlasting gospel of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. The retreat was a timely reminder of this mission, and we are grateful for the opportunity to be part of it.
In conclusion, the retreat in Rwagitima was a tremendous success, and we thank God for His blessings and guidance throughout the program. We pray that the church elders who attended the retreat will continue to be inspired and equipped to fulfill their mission as ambassadors of Christ.
May God bless the Seventh-day Adventist Church in North East Rwanda Field, and may we continue to be a beacon of hope and light in our communities.
